The main body of the Revo-TRC is made from forged, 6061 aluminium. The pedal is then fully CNC machined, to remove as much material as possible. Internally, a short, cromoly axle, with an inboard hollow cut-out further reduces the overall weight to just 394g.
The Renthal developed binding uses easy entry geometry. This allows the rear jaw to move down and away from the cleat, on engagement. The effect is a reduction in force required to engage the cleat, for a given spring tension. The bindings feature independent adjustment, with a huge range of spring tension, to suit any rider preference. Renthal bindings are fully SPD compatible.
The patent pending axle system, features in the Revo-TRC allows full home servicing, using standard tools, found in anyone’s toolkit. All is required is a 6mm and 8mm hex-key, a standard 8mm socket, a torque wrench and a mallet. The unique system uses the axle to both remove and re-install the bushing. The bearings are also pressed into place, using the pedal internals.
The Revo-TRC spins on an inboard Igus bush, which is sealed against the elements with a full-contact wiper seal. Centrally mounted, there are three cartridge bearings, directly in-line with pedalling forces, to massively increase durability. An end-cap with O-ring completes the sealed package.
