Product Description
The Renthal V2 Apex 35 - 50mm combines Freeride strength, Enduro stiffness and XC lightweight.
Unique 240° handlebar clamps allow much of the stem body material to be removed, whilst retaining the strength and stiffness demanded by modern, wide handlebars.
The V2 Apex is forged and CNC machined, featuring an oversize centre bore, which allows access for extensive internal machining and webbing, to maximise structural strength and stiffness and minimise weight.

The clamps are installed over the small diameter section of the handlebar and slid into the centre, giving a 240° wrap of the handlebar. The zero-gap lower clamp ensures maximum support of the handlebar, in this critical zone.
The V2 Apex steerer clamp is side mounted which give a clean rear profile to the stem and removes any sharp edges. The angled steerer clamp screws, tangential to the steerer tube, give much more efficient clamping, for a higher clamping load.
The V2 Apex stem is manufactured from forging and then CNC machined. All unnecessary material is removed to minimise weight, whilst retaining maximum strength and stiffness. The unique handlebar clamping system opens up the front of the stem, allowing intricate machining of the stem body internals, to increase stiffness and strength and reduce weight.
The Renthal V2 Apex is forged and CNC machined from 2014 aluminium with 7050 aluminium clamps. These materials and their heat treatment processes have been specifically chosen for this application, to give the highest strength and durability.
The V2 Apex is the improved evolution of the V1 stem, which carried riders to nine overall EWS series titles, 72 individual EWS race wins and a World Championship.
